{Favorite} Cake Friday

This Friday I am featuring a cake shop from Cleveland, Ohio. It is called The White Flower Cake Shoppe. Their cakes are just gorgeous!! So creative and unique.  They even have cake decorating classes. I so wish I was closer to learn some more and actually see their creations and shoppe in person. If anyone is like me and has a love for cake design, you will drool over their pictures and just go off into dream land! 

The cake I chose as my favorite for this week is a pink and orange themed wedding cake. And since I am working on a pink and orange fiesta party, I just had to pick a pink and orange awesome cake design. 

I LOVE this cake! The colors are just so bright and cheery! Just makes you smile and be happy!

{Favorite} Cake Friday

For today's Favorite Cake Friday, I am featuring a cake done by the Cake Girls. They are two sisters that ran the well known cake shop in Chicago. I always watched them on Amazing Wedding Cakes on the WEtv network. Just this year they endured a terrible tragedy with their cake shop. A fire destroyed everything they worked hard for. Reading an update for this month on their website, they have not been making any cakes and are not taking orders, but have been fighting with insurance to get things sorted out. It was so saddening to hear about what happened at first, well still is. I can't imagine going through any of that.

I just Love the orange and brown together and the details with butterflies. Very fall like, which I have been missing that season lately. Ready for all the pretty fall colors and leaves changing and the lovely holidays! Though I will miss summer, I will not miss the heat.

{Favorite} Cake Friday

This week I am showcasing a beachy sand dollar cake by Sheri's Edible Designs, actually here in South Carolina. She really has some amazing talent, opening her shop in 2007 at the age of 22!!! WOW, most 22 year olds have partying still in their systems, much less running their own successful cake design business! Kudos to you Sheri, what a great idol you are.
